We have looked at part whole models with 3 parts today. The children have been learning that 1 number can be partitioned in to many ways in 3 parts.
Last week we had lots of parents for Family Phonics! The children love showing off how they read and all of the activities to help them!

We have a adopted a tree in our playground. We are going to watch it change throughout the year .

On wednesday 25th September, we had a prayer service where we thought about who we were going to work hard to make happy that day. It was lovely and the children kept it a secret. Some children managed to guess who was trying to make them happy!
This week we are focusing on making new friends for Beegu. We all have the right to play with other children so Beegu should have the right to play with other Beegus too.
We know quite a bit about our senses in Year 1 so today we thought about those who do not have the sense of sight. We quickly learnt that to respect someone’s dignity who cannot see we must ask if we can help them before putting our hands on them. We worked hard to play together and include everyone.
