Have a go at doing some more of Penny’s Problems. I will give you the answers in a video tomorrow. Then you can finish off the rest to get her Pet shop up and running!

Learning Objective: (Reading) To explain why a character might do certain things.

Listen to me telling the story and follow along with the words and illustrations.

  • fury-wild and angry     The child threw his toys in fury.
  • sapling- a young tree with a slim trunk      The sapling bent in the wind.

Learning Objective: To know how the Church celebrates important events in the Catholic Calendar

If we were allowed to go to church now, we would see that the Easter candle would be lit. This candle is blessed on Easter Saturday and stays lit for 40 days. Easter lasts for this long as we wait for the next gift from Jesus. The Easter candle is also known as the Paschal Candle. Watch the video to learn about the importance of the Paschal Candle.
