Hello everyone! I am just getting ready to film the next part of Egg Drop but I found this lovely video of a little girl, called Gabby, flying on bubbles. I thought you guys might like it :-).
Click on the link to watch the video and then answer these questions:
How did Gabby feel at the start of the video?
What was she missing?
Who did she see on her journey?
Why did she leave the bubbles for someone else?
Tomorrow I will post your spelling test. I will video the screen and read out the u_e words we have been practising this week. Just like at school, I will not read them in the same order. You can then take a photo of your results and email them to me or, post your answers in the comment box underneath.
Starting from tomorrow, I will be choosing a star of the week every Friday. I have a few children emailing me or commenting on the blog so I will choose from those children this week.
Keep sending me your work or writing on the blog to receive the star of the week award next week!
I love recieving pictures of the children’s work whether it’s handwriting, maths or even your beautiful rainbow windows

This week we are focusing on capacity. Clink on the link above to watch a video a day about the learning and then have a go at the activity. There is no need to print the sheets as Year 1 are very used to writing their answers down when there are questions on the board. The children all have whiteboards and pens in their home learning packs so they can work out the questions and write down their answers on their.
If you can, take a photo of your work and email it to me l.barr@stvincnt.bham.sch.uk
I will pop it on the blog when I receive them.
Enjoy!
