Parents-If we were at school, we would be moving on to multiplication and division. This is exactly what the children will be doing at home by using this link and the games I post each day. It may not look like standard multiplication and division but these small steps will help your children succeed when presented with more formal methods in the future.

This week we are focusing on capacity. Clink on the link above to watch a video a day about the learning and then have a go at the activity. There is no need to print the sheets as Year 1 are very used to writing their answers down when there are questions on the board. The children all have whiteboards and pens in their home learning packs so they can work out the questions and write down their answers on their.
