When you go on your daily walk today, have a look at different types of trees. take your red books with you and draw the different trees all on one page.
What do you notice about the trees?
How do you know they are different?
Are there any trees that have some things that are different and some things that are the same.
Look at the colours of the trunks and their leaves. The shape of the leaves on a tree help us to know what the tree is called.

Some trees don’t loose their leaves in the autumn. Some trees are green all year round. These are called evergreen trees. The trees that loose their leaves are called deciduous trees.
