Home learning

Hi everyone,

I will be on holiday for this week. You might be wondering why? Well it’s because I worked in school last week while you were having your holiday, so I am taking a little break.

If you haven’t done so already please have a look at the previous activities I have posted on our blog and complete the work set.  Remember to leave a comment so I know you have visited. If you have completed all the work then please make sure you look at 6A’s blog and choose work from there to complete.

Thank you to Aden, Britney, Abenezer, Wail, Hammad, Abigail and Crystal for leaving comments on the blogs. It’s lovely to hear from you and know you are engaging in the work. If you are in the study buddy group encourage your friends to come to the blog and leave a message.

I’ll be back on the 4th so please come back to the blog page then.

Miss you all so much. Take care of each other and God Bless you.

Mrs Bell.

Reading Task

Task – Read a chapter from your home reading or library book.

Task – summarise the events from the chapter using bullet points. Then create a comic strip or present the information in a creative way.

Note down any unfamiliar words you come across. Explore the meaning of the word, by firstly reading around the sentence and its context. Then check if you are correct by using a dictionary.

Today set yourself a challenge to read something around the house that isn’t a book and not online.

Write what you find in the comments section below.
