Hi Folks,
Visualisation and Role on the Wall
Read the opening paragraph stopping at ‘… her neck stings with every step.’
Sketch what you see in your mind’s based on the description.
Discuss why her chin might be frozen, how the pelting raindrops might make the skin on her arms feel and what might be causing her neck to sting.
Look at the illustration that accompanies the opening paragraph.
What do you notice?
How does it compare with your sketches?
What does the additional details in the illustration communicate to us as readers?
Role on the Wall

I would like to invite you to reflect on how she might be feeling in this moment and what you observe based on the text and illustration about her character role.
