Refugee Week

This week is Refugee Week so hopefully you will see a theme in our quotes. We always remember in our prayers, those who are fleeing war, poverty and famine but this week we will make a special effort to be mindful of the dangerous lives of so many, the suffering they are trying to escape and the difficulties they face even in their new homes, when they think they have reached safety.

“Quote of the Day” –  Handwriting Practice

“Jesus Christ is always waiting to be recognised in migrants and refugees….through them he calls us to share our resources and occasionally to give up something of our acquired riches.”

                                                                                     – Pope Francis
