Wow! What a busy day! Year 3 and 4 visited Ash End Farm on Wednesday 15th September. They learnt an awful lot about animals, their food and their young. On the way home it all got a little bit too much and most of the children fell asleep.
Facts: Sheep only have bottom teeth. Chicks are born with a a hatching tooth, designed to crack their way out of their egg. Pigs suckle milk from their mothers, like cows but humans cannot drink this milk. One cow can produce 20 bottles of milk in a week.
