Task – Plan a letter to a Health Care Hero. It can be addressed to someone you know or a general letter to the healthcare profession.

You must plan before you write. Failing to plan means you are planning to fail at your task!

Write your letter then send it to me via email, so I can upload it on to the blog for you. If you don’t want it uploaded, just let me know.

In the comments section explain what a Foster Carer is and why the job they do is important.

Foster carers are given an allowance. Work out how the money is spent below, working out the equivalent fraction where necessary.

Money = £600

Food= 2/8            Medical = 1/10       Toiletries = 1/5

Clothes = 2/8      Transport = 2/10

Challenge question

What fraction is spent on food and clothes combined?
