For the first exercise, we’re going to look at new vocabulary so you will need something you can use as a writer’s notebook. Don’t write anything yet, but read the words and their meanings. Match them up in your head.

Vocabulary

First, match these meanings up with the words:

Then, complete these noun phrases using the vocabulary.
