On Thursday 2nd March St Vincent’s celebrated World Book Day and our classroom was overtaken with characters from lots of different stories! Children thoroughly enjoyed meeting the Jolly Postman during our WBD assembly where it transpired that an imposter had taken something from the following characters: The Monster, Miss Bear, Zippy the Zebra, Robin Hood, Mickey Mouse, Mary Poppins and Alice in Wonderland! Children were full of excitement throughout the day for the tea party where they’d find out who was our culprit! During the tea party our paper chains that we’d enjoyed making earlier in the day were connected and contain the favourite books of all of the children and staff from our school!
