During DT this week we had to make a free standing, 3D structure using tape, cardboard and tubes. We had to make a chimney for Santa to climb up. It had to be sturdy so that he didn’t fall off. We had to provide a wide base for stability. We worked together in groups to complete the set task…

We are waiting for the coming of Jesus during Advent. We are preparing by decorating our classroom and our class Christmas tree. We think it looks just beautiful :).

This week in design and technology we had to design and make a bridge for Mary and Joseph to walk over to get to Bethlehem. The bridge had to be strong enough to hold 8 blocks. We explored the brief, designed our bridge and then made it using paper and cubes.
