Good morning Reception !

I hope you are well and looking after each other.

Let’s start with some moving and listening – play the game  “Simon Says” to wake up and focus.

This week you have looked at ear words . How many ear words can you remember ?

Remember you can revisit all the activities by  looking at yesterdays blog.

Today we will look at words with the trigraph air. Watch the video below.

The socks are on the red chair.

Fill the ball with air.

Quick challenge :

Healthy Mind , Healthy Body

During these strange times , it is important to think about what we are grateful (thankful) for- that is, the things that make us feel safe, happy and warm inside.

Think about the people and events that YOU are grateful / thankful for.

Draw your own Gratitude  jar and draw the  people, things  and events (times) that you are grateful for. No empty or half -full jars please 🙂

We would love to see these so please e-mail us a copy if you can.

Story

Time for a story about … germs ! It is written by Steve Smallman , the author who visited our school .

https://youtu.be/KrP50revT-Q

Time to think:

Everyone sneezes, so what has the pig done wrong ?

Why is it important to use a tissue ?

The wolf is usually a baddie in stories. Is Big Bad nasty or nice?

Enjoy the rest of your day .

P.E. tomorrow so make sure you have lots of energy !

Take good care of yourselves and your families . Pray and play together.
