First we started by peeling and cutting up our apples.
Then we very carefully stewed them until they were nice and soft.
After that we measured out our flour, sugar and butter. We then mixed them together to make the crumble.
We then put our apples and crumble together.
We cooked our apple crumble in the oven until it was lovely and golden.
We enjoyed using the conkers to make our CVC words.
We matched the sounds to the one on our card.
Then we sounded out our sounds clearly.
The finally we blended them together to make our word.
We are very smart
We have been using our maths cubes to work out how much we can make when we add more.
Stem Sentence: First I had 5 green cubes. Then I added 5 yellow cubes. Now I have 10 cubes altogether.
Here the boys were able to work together to work out their maths problem.
Stem Sentence: First I had 1 white cube. Then I added 1 more white cube. Now I have 2 white cubes altogether.
Stem Sentence: First I had 4 red cubes. Then I added 3 white cubes. Now I have 7 cubes altogether.
We have been using our ten frames to help us learn one more.
Together with our partners we have been challenging them to find one more than a given number.
For example we place 5 counters onto the ten frame, we then add one more counter to the ten frame. This now gives us 6 red counters.

During our guided reading sessions we enjoy a range of activities. We either read and learn with our teachers, explore new books in our library or share our books with our friends.
Each week we have a new book to read and learn about. These books are helping our phonics learning and also encourages our imagination of stories to grow.
We are able to use our number lines to find one more of a given number.
We enjoy working with our friends and helping each other to learn. 
We have been learning how we can sort our objects into lots of categories.
Here we are able to sort our bricks into different colours.
We start every new week with an assembly. During this assembly we learn about God and his stories from the bible.
We enjoying singing and praising God together.
