With the school being closed to fight the Coronavirus, we will be using this blog to continue our faith together. We will update this blog daily and please comment on it as we do.
The children of St Vincent’s celebrated their feast day with a day of social action. The children in Year 1 and 2 took part in the McMillan coffee morning selling cakes. Year 3 and 4 children tidied up the outside of our parish church picking up leaves and rubbish. Year 5 painted tiles with symbols of our faith. Year 6 wrote mission statements for the children of our school.
Today , some children went to visit housebound members of the Parish with Mr Davis and Father Solomon. We sang and prayed and gave gifts. It made us feel good. Groups of children will be visiting them every week!
Year 1,3 and 5 had a beautiful prayer Service about being active in their faith. They acted out the acts of Apostles story about Peter curing a lame man.
