The River Nile

The River Nile is the longest river in the world. It is 6,695 km long!  It flows North through  Tanzania, Lake Victoria, Uganda and South Sudan. The River Nile is found in the Northeast of Africa. Around 5,000 years ago the ancient Egyptians relied on the Nile for fresh water.The river and its banks are home to many wildlife.
