Today we had a beautiful mass for the children’s First Holy Communion. What an amazing service it was! We are truely blessed.
Today the children in Year 3 conducted an experiment to work out how sound travels. They asked this question last week and worked together to plan the experiment. They have been excellent scientists.

The first day back at school, on Monday morning, I noticed a reflective pebble right at the back of my chair. I predict that a miner gave it to me to keep but there may be other reasons. They may have put them there to secretly hide their mess. However, the pebble has one completely flat side and the other side is all round.
The mystery continues…

Following their theme, year 3 spent the afternoon collecting leaves and then creating beautiful leaf rubbings with them. What do you notice about the leaf rubbings? What can you see?

Today Year 3 went down into Key Stage 1 to see Year 1. After listening to a story, the Year 3 children taught Year 1 about different kinds of families just like Roy, Silo and baby Tango in Central Park, New York.
