Today Year 4 have been improving their hockey skills with coach Mr Thompson

Today in Year 3 and 4 we looked at “Dignity of Work”. We were given different jobs to do! This was to show that the basic rights of workers must be respected – the right to productive work, to decent and fair wages, to the organisation and joining of unions, to private property, and economic work. Some groups were treated fairly and spoken to nicely. Others were shouted out, made to stand not treated fairly! How do you think they felt?

We are learning to pass and throw.

We were joined by parents and sisters making advent wreaths and thinking about how we prepare for the birth of Jesus. We are waiting with joy, faith and hope.

In year 4, we had a lovely prayer service led by the children praying for those people who are sick within our school community.

Year 4 – Step up fitness test. Mr Thompson is working us hard today!

Today we did had great fun in our art lesson. We did some marbling using shaving foam and food colouring!

After just 4 weeks our Ukulele lessons are paying off – such concentration!

Year 4 have been investigating the permeability of different soils.
