An idea planted in his head.
In our class book, we are reading the Tin Forest. In the story, an old man has an idea and builds a Tin forest and today in year 3 we built our own tin forest. here they are afterwards.

Planting some bulbs and flowers
The children in year 3 have been planting flowers and bulbs in their outdoor garden area to make the world a better place. Our hands were dirty afterwards though!
Place Value Maths…
In year 3, we have been learning about place value. We are focusing on Hundreds, tens and units but also beginning to look at thousands! Here are some photos of us using place value counters to make hundreds.
