The first festive craft session has been a great success with parents and children engaging together to produce a beautiful seasons art piece.
Next week the craft will be card making. The group is full but if you are interested in taking part we can see about running it again next term.
Do you know anyone who needs help with the Life in the UK test?
We run a class on a Tuesday morning starting at 9am to teach everything you need to know to pass the test and support for booking your test.
Study guides are provided. We still have spaces for next week.
Aimr and Danayi joined myself and Mrs Stolban on a visit to the Smurfit Kappa paper mill. We reviewed the litter pick we did for World Clean Up Day and discussed with people from other schools and organisations how we can make Nechells cleaner. Our school has been placed in charge of bins in the local area and will be researching where bins need to be placed, how they can be made more appealing to use and ensuring they are emptied frequently enough. If you would like to get involved please come and see me.
Another assessment and information session will be running from 9am until 11.30am on Thursday 26th September for those unable to make it last week.
If you are unsure whether you would benefit from these courses come and speak to me on the KS1 gate before school or via the office at any other time.
