The Stations of the Cross – First Station – Jesus is condemned to death

When Jesus is brought before Pilate he has been abandoned. His friends have deserted him, his life is flipped upside down.

How many people’s lives have been flipped upside down in the last few weeks? How many of us feel unsure about everything right now?

Do not feel abandoned. Through prayer and compassionate thoughts we will come together once again.

Say this prayer at home with your families:

Loving Father,

Help us to overcome what is put before us,

let us stand together as brother and sister,

let us not feel abandoned as you are with us,

We will follow you forever.

Amen

St Vincent’s Day 2018

The children of St Vincent’s celebrated their feast day with a day of social action. The children in Year 1 and 2 took part in the McMillan coffee morning selling cakes. Year 3 and 4 children tidied up the outside of our parish church picking up leaves and rubbish. Year 5 painted tiles with symbols of our faith. Year 6 wrote mission statements for the children of our school.
