In Year 2 we’ve been learning all about the properties of different materials.
To allow children to test these properties we carried out a simple experiment that allowed children to test previously made predictions. Children discussed how to make this a fair experiment and if they were to do it again which variables they could change.
Our experiment allowed us to determine which material would work best at keeping Ted (our class elephant) dry! Poor Ted got very wet and the children LOVED it!
