We had so much fun during our Paths lesson in Year 2 today! We were reading The Princess Boy by Cheryl Kilodavis. The Princess Boy fiction picture book about acceptance. In the story a 4 year old boy who happily expresses his authentic self by happily dressing up in dresses, and enjoying traditional girl things such as jewellery and anything pink or sparkly.way through the book we stopped and children were asked what will happen? Their responses were noted on the flipchart and you can see this below. Following this children discussed how the little boy was different from his older brother. Below, you can see pictures of children from Year 2 ‘twirling’, a dance move that was very popular with the young boy in the story.
