Our theme this half term has been Homes.
We have looked at lots of different homes. Year 1 and Year 2 all worked together to make some homes out of Lego and Duplo. We then designed our on paper. Once each of the groups had decided on what to make we then began to build our homes out of all the junk modelling materials that we had been saving in our classrooms over the weeks. We stuck the parts together using glue, tape and staple guns. We had to work together as a team and sometimes this was hard, but we managed it.
The next day we began to cover our houses with mod-rock, this stuff made the whole of KS1 white and even covered all of our clothes. We really enjoyed making the houses.
