Our super gymnasts from Year 3 came second in competition. They were brilliant sports and performed well.
Three children from St. Vincent’s took part in the inaugural ‘Caritas Christi in Urbe’ Boccia Championship. The children had a wonderful time and won some and lost some! They were fabulously behaved and really enjoyed themselves. Thank you to Mrs. Stolban for taking them.
The boys and girls from year 5 and 6 were brilliant today and managed to beat Heathfield Primary 5-2. It was an entertaining and hard fought game but we scored some great goals and had a great time. Thank you to Heathfield for organising the match.
Tonight, our brilliant year 3 and 4 boys and girls team played in the King Edward Aston tournament. They were fantastic and won one game and drew another! They were fabulous sports and just awesome!
Sadly our match was postponed tonight against Heartlands Academy but the girls still managed to have a great training match against one another. Their attitude and behaviour was perfect. A pure joy to be with.

Our super football girls did brilliantly at the Aston and District 5 a side girls tournament. They won 2 of their games, drew 1 and lost 1. They finished second in the league and narrowly missed out on qualifying for the semi finals! Well done girls!
St.Vincent’s boys were remarkable tonight in the Aston District 5 a side tournament. 24 schools attended the tournament which is a record in itself.
They managed to get through their league unbeaten (5 wins out of 5)with only letting in one goal. They were superb in challenging conditions.
In the semi final, they beat Barford 1-0 with a superb performance. In the final, they lost to Sacred Heart who were outstanding. They were a credit to the school. Well done boys!

Our boys football team made a great start to the season in the Aston District league winning 3 games, drawing 1 game and losing 1 game. There behaviour and attitude was outstanding throughout. Mr. O’Brien has done a fantastic job of coaching them this year and we are hopeful of a trophy at some point this year.
