As part of our World Book Day celebrations and our new class book- The Unforgotten Coat (by Frank Cotterall-Boyce), Year 6 decided to learn, practice and recite a poem about a Refugee.
To help learn the poem, so that it was ready to recite at the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party- children used Talk4Writing.
The play was so fun I enjoyed it a lot!!!!
You guys really got the emotion of the poem across – well done!
