Who is this man?
This half term – Year 6 are studying the tragic path of Macbeth. Wrote in 1606, the Thane of Glamis succumbs to his desire for power by killing King Duncan.
As part of our learning, we would like as much information as possible about the author of Macbeth. If you have any knowledge or facts about him please leave them in our comment box.
It was great fun learning about Macbeth and chanting the three witches Caldron.

KING Macbeth of Scotland, on whom Shakespeare’s play was based, died on August 15, 1057.
August 15 may also be the day on which he became King after his forces killed King Duncan near Elgin probably on August 14, 1040.
